A passion for beauty and design brought Suzette Bentley down a road less traveled. The moment she stepped into the jewelry world, she felt she could bring her life-long goal of entrepreneurship to fruition. In the thoughtful design and careful crafting of unique jewelry pieces, she had finally found her creative niche.
As Suzette’s business and skills grew, so did her goals. From this ambition, Elements of Antiquity, a line of pewter components available to other jewelry crafters, was born.
The idea for Elements of Antiquity came to Suzette one stormy afternoon while she sat at the Tampa airport, waiting on a return flight home to Charlotte, North Carolina. As she waited, she reflected on the start of her now seasoned jewelry business, and thought about what she hoped to accomplish in the future.
Inspired by antiques, nature, and people, Suzette wanted to design her own components that represent these interests. Along with using these components in her own finished jewelry designs, she decided to open up creative possibilities to other jewelry lovers who wanted the chance to construct their own personal jewelry pieces.
Each Elements of Antiquity piece is intentionally and proudly made in the USA. The components have a three-dimensional aspect, the result of an elaborate antiquing process. Along with the pieces in the current collection, Suzette is currently developing even more designs for this product line. She wants to share her love for jewelry making with other creative souls who will incorporate Elements of Antiquity into their own jewelry creations.
Feel free to ideate and imagine as you explore this web site, and, perhaps, share your thoughts and jewelry creations on the Elements of Antiquity Facebook page. We can’t wait to see what you create.
